Students can extend their understanding of mathematics topics by using manipulatives, both real and virtual. The National Library of Virtual Manipulatives offers a wide variety of virtual tools for student use, divided into grade-level strands of PreK-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Within each grade strand are manipulatives for numbers and operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, and data analysis and probability.
