Welcome
to Physics! I love Physics! And I hope by the end of the year you will
love physics as well. You probably don’t
realize how much physics you already know.
The skills you use to perform daily tasks rely on the principles of
physics. To excel at sports, tumbling,
music, skateboarding, biking, driving, golf, and yes, even video games you rely
on your knowledge of physics. You may
not know the terms associated with the principle yet but you have learned
through trial and error in performing these tasks what works and what
doesn’t. We will take a closer look at
these fundamental principles throughout the year, recreating situations in lab
that allow us to experience these concepts.
And yes, some math will be involved.
