Welcome to fifth grade! Fifth grade is an exciting year for both students and parents. Our goal is for you to have your best year yet … before you begin your middle school adventure! You will be changing classes at least three times throughout the day, keeping up with an assignment sheet, getting prepared for middle school, and making new friends.
Fifth graders have an exciting overnight field trip planned to SeaWorld San Antonio in May. We will leave this year at noon on Thursday, May 22nd, and return at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, May 23rd. Three of the classes will sleep in the indoor shark aquarium, and three will sleep with the penguins. We will have classes Thursday evening until 10:00 p.m., and we’ll continue the classes very early Friday morning. Once the park opens, you will have a free day at SeaWorld! More information will be sent regarding this field trip throughout the year.
