{Spring Fun} Thanks for visiting my webpage! I am excited to say this is my eleventh year teaching 2nd grade! I grew up in Argyle and went to school here. My husband Derek and I have been married nine years and are the proud parents of two wonderful children, Zooey Bella and Quincy Cooley. I have my degree in dance from the University of Alabama. Roll Tide Roll! I am a certified teacher with a specialization in reading. I am also a certified Pilates instructor and will be offering "Pilates for Kids" again in the 2nd semester. You can see me in Pilates Style Magazine http://www.pilatesstyle.com/html/ in the Sept/Oct issue teaching Pilates to Hilltop Elementary kids. There is so much to be inspired by working with and having children. I am very passionate about teaching! I am also passionate about introducing foreign language to children. I have been lucky enough to have some wonderful volunteers the past few years to teach German and Japanese! I look forward to working with my volunteers this year! I feel when children learn Pilates and a foreign language this increases their skills in creativity, memory, attention control, problem solving and more. But most importantly, it's fun to learn!!
